Is made up from the ancient Greek prefix "MACRO", which lengthens the meaning of the words, and the well-known Latin word "VITA", which means life. The composition of the two also incorporates the Asian symbol YIN - YANG that expresses physical and mental balance. Combined with the honeycomb of the bee, it leads to apitherapy.

Two restless spirits with global vision
MACROVITA was founded in 1984 by George and Elisabeth Vassilakaki, who completed
their economic studies and worked for many years as top executives in industrial enterprises.
Restless spirits both of them early envisioned the upcoming global shift towards natural life and the
development of ecological consciousness by people. For this reason, they decided to incorporate their knowledge, skills, ambition and creativity in a sole business activity.
Thanks to their persistence in continuous creative research and the utilization of natural ingredients, MACROVITA has achieved to constantly remain in the forefront of cosmetology, immediately satisfying all consumer emerging needs with innovative, and always effective, cosmetic products.

MACROVITA is active in two basic sectors: Natural Cosmetics & Natural Food Supplements (bee derivatives).
 
The first sector deals with research, design, development, production and sale of MACROVITA Natural Cosmetics based on sophisticated combinations of vegetable oils or plant extracts, bee origin ingredients and natural vitamins. The unique product lines fully meet with face, body and hair requirements. The effectiveness of most ingredients used is documented by specific scientific studies, while, MACROVITA Natural Cosmetics based on sophisticated combinations of vegetable oils or plant extracts, bee origin substances and natural vitamins.
 
The second sector deals mainly with unprocessed Apitherapy products (with no further processing except for standardization):
Fresh bee royal jelly, pollen, propolis and many types of honey.
