Use it to prepare solutions, ointments, or other proprietary formulations (you may find numerous recipes online) or chew slowly, like gum, a small lentil-sized piece until it begins to rub, and then swallow it. It is recommended for sore throat, common cold, and inflammations of the oropharyngeal cavity, such as mouth ulcers, gingivitis, etc. Using it 2-3 times a day for three days is usually sufficient to relieve symptoms.
